I’ve realized some baby blanket with the perfect heart and I hope you like that I give you the pattern!

O = 1 yarn around needle

\ = k2tog

/ = slip one, 1 knit, pass the slip stitch over

* = slip one knitwise (sl1 kw), k2tog, pass slipped stitch over (psso)

+ = k2tog, pass reverse this st. on the left needle, pass over the next st. on this, pass the st. on the right needle

Baby blanket knitted in “Chevron” with 5 st at the border in garter stitch
Please read all the instruction before beginning to knit!
Size: 60 cm x 80 cm / 23 x 32 inches
Necessary:
– 3 balls of Drops Design Big Merino in grey
– 1 ball of Drops Design Big Merino in lavender
– 1 ball of Drops Design Big Merino in amethyst
– 1 ball of Drops Design Big Merino in light pink
– 1 ball of Drops Design Big Merino in plum
– Needles N. 5 / US 8
– marker
decrease: knit 2 stitches together (k2tog)
increase: yarn over

Let’s go:
Cast on 120 stitches on the needle
Row 1 – knit
Row 2 – knit

In this row place Marker after 5 st, every 22, and you will have 5 left
Row 3 – knit 5 st ( for the border in garter st) “M, decrease, knit 8, increase, increase, knit 7, decrease, knit 1, “M, repeat this until the last 5 and knit them.
Row 4 – purl

Repeate rows 3 and 4 and change the color every 8 rows
Alternate grey (A) with the other colors like this:
A – B – A – C – A – D – A – E … and finish with color A
Continue until 79cm / 31 inches and now work row 1 and 2
Cast off all the stitches
Finish!!
Obviously this model can be modified in colors and size, for changing width cast on 22 stitches more or 22 less.

This blanket is very funny, in garter stitch and with a lovely hood.
I’ve used one yarn 50% cotton and 50% wool, it’s perfect for midseason and for summer.
This is for a baby girl but it’s a good model for a boy also.

Necessary:
2 balls of Cotton Merino Drops Design in pink
2 balls of Cotton Merino Drops Design in violet
needles US 6 / 4.00 mm

Cast on 3 stitch on needle with a violet yarn and knit one row.

From now every row make one after the first stitch.

Ho pensato questa sciarpa per la mia nipotina, oltre a cercare di farla bellissima, ho pensato alla comodità nel metterla e toglierla velocemente, quindi ho creato un anello all’inizio in cui far passare il capo e violà il collo è perfettamente protetto dal freddo ed avvolto in una morbida lana.

Sto pensando anche ad un modello per maschietti magari senza trecce e senza fiocco.

Io ho usato:

2 gomitoli di Big Merino di Drops Design rosa

Ferri dritti n.5

Ferretto da treccia

Consiglio di leggere bene tutto il progetto prima di iniziare, se avete qualche dubbio contattatemi!

Iniziamo:

Montare 28 maglie sul ferro n.5

F1: D  R  D D D D  R  D D D D  R  D D D D  R  D D D D  R  D D D D  R  D

F2: D  D  R R R R   D  R R R R   D  R R R R   D  R R R R   D  R R R R  D  D

Abbiamo quindi 5 treccie da 4 maglie, intrecciare sempre sul diritto del lavoro.

F3 intrecciare la treccia centrale (la terza)

F4 e tutti i ferri pari, ripetere il F2

F5 intrecciare la seconda e la quarta treccia

F7 intrecciare la prima e l’ultima treccia

Riprendere dal F1 (quindi senza intrecciare)

Proseguire in questo modo per c.ca 40 cm dall’inizio.

Mettere un segno al centro del lavoro, dopo 14 maglie.

Poi diminuire prima e dopo il segno, lavorando insieme 2 maglie al diritto del lavoro fino ad avere 4 maglie sul ferro.

Lavorare queste 4 maglie a legaccio (tutti i ferri a diritto) per c.ca 10/12 cm.

Chiudere e cucire come da foto.

Fiocco:

Montare 8 maglie e lavorare a legaccio per c.ca 13/14 cm, chiudere e cucire i lembi.

Montare 3 maglie e lavorare c.ca 4/5 cm, chiudere.

Montare il fiocco come da foto e cucirlo sulla sciarpa.

Finito!!
