R1: knit

Put the marker:

R2: 5 knit (K), put the marker (M), 18 K, M, 18 K, M, 18 K, M, 18 K, M, 5 K

R3: 5 K, “k2tog, 6 k, 1 yarn over, 6 D, k2tog, 1K” repeat until the last M , 5K

R4: purl

R5-8: repeat the row 3 and 4 for 2 times

R9-12: with color B repeat for 2 times the rows 3 e 4

R13-20: with color C repeat for 4 times the rows  3 e 4

R21-24: with color B repeat for 2 times the rows 3 e 4

Please read all the instruction before beginning to knit!
Size: 60 cm x 80 cm / 23 x 32 inches
Necessary:
– 3 balls of Drops Design Big Merino in grey
– 1 ball of Drops Design Big Merino in lavender
– 1 ball of Drops Design Big Merino in amethyst
– 1 ball of Drops Design Big Merino in light pink
– 1 ball of Drops Design Big Merino in plum
– Needles N. 5 / US 8
– marker
decrease: knit 2 stitches together (k2tog)
increase: yarn over

In this row place Marker after 5 st, every 22, and you will have 5 left
Row 3 – knit 5 st ( for the border in garter st) “M, decrease, knit 8, increase, increase, knit 7, decrease, knit 1, “M, repeat this until the last 5 and knit them.
Row 4 – purl

Repeate rows 3 and 4 and change the color every 8 rows
Alternate grey (A) with the other colors like this:
A – B – A – C – A – D – A – E … and finish with color A
Continue until 79cm / 31 inches and now work row 1 and 2
Cast off all the stitches
Finish!!
Obviously this model can be modified in colors and size, for changing width cast on 22 stitches more or 22 less.

Ho finalmente finito di scrivere l’ultimo modello di copertina con i cuoricini traforati,

l’ho realizzata con 5 gomitoli di un filato di cotone 100% Drops Design Paris, che si può lavare in lavatrice fino a 60°quindi lo consiglio molto per i neonati ed un paio di ferri n. 5.

Ci vuole tempo a realizzare un modello e soprattutto a tradurlo in inglese! Ma sono molto soddisfatta.

Lo troverete in vendita sia qui nello store che su ETSY o Ravelry.

This blanket is very funny, in garter stitch and with a lovely hood.
I’ve used one yarn 50% cotton and 50% wool, it’s perfect for midseason and for summer.
This is for a baby girl but it’s a good model for a boy also.

Necessary:
2 balls of Cotton Merino Drops Design in pink
2 balls of Cotton Merino Drops Design in violet
needles US 6 / 4.00 mm

Cast on 3 stitch on needle with a violet yarn and knit one row.

From now every row make one after the first stitch.

I ended up with many different coloured balls, same yarn.

There we go with another experiment!

Needles nr 4

6 balls, cotton muskat all in blue/light blue colours

We’ll work in stockinette st.

Cast on 100 sts with color A

We’ll change color at any row, with 3 balls each time in this sequence:

A – B – C

A – B – C

A – B – C

A – B – C

A – B – C

At this point we stop using A and start with D in the sequence

D – B – C

D – B – C

D – B – C

D – B – C

D – B – C

Stop using B and start with E

E – C – D

E – C – D

E – C – D

E – C – D

Stop with C and start with F

E – F – D

E – F – D

E – F – D

E – F – D

Stop with D and re start with A

E – F – A

E – F – A

E – F – A

Stop with E and re start with B

And so on until you reach the desired size. When I reached half of the work, I change the sequence, to make it more irregular.

Measures : 40x50cm / 16×20 in , 50x60cm / 20×24 in, 50x70cm / 20×27 in…up to 120×90 cm /47×35 in (just do it).

But my favorite is 60×60 cm /24×24 in, because I think it’s the right size from birth to 2-3 years.

Today’s project is a 100% cotton baby blanket.

Needle size 5mm / US 8

250 g Drops Paris cotton

Ready? ..Go!

Cast on 100 sts on needle.

Rows 1 – 6 in seeds st (Row 1 “K , P” – Row 2 K over P and P over K)

Now: 5 sts in Seeds st, 3 sts in stockinette st, repeat the design for 6 times, 3 sts in stockinette st, 5 sts in seeds sts.

Advise: put the marker after 8 sts, every 14 sts, and after the last 8 sts.

Repeat the patterns until reaching the desired length

Repeat the rows 1 – 6 and blind off.

Le copertine sono sempre il progetto preferito per chi riceve qualcosa di fatto a mano,

anche per chi lo deve regalare e quindi comprare o produrre.

Per le misure andiamo dal 40×50, al 50×60, al 50×70, … fino alla misura lettino 120×90 (fatta!).

Le mie preferite sono 60×60, vanno benissimo dagli 0 anni fino a quando si lascerà il passeggino.

il progetto di oggi è in cotone 100%, ferri n.5

ho usato 5 gomitoli da 50g di Drops Paris

Montiamo 100 maglie sul ferro.

F1 – F6 a grana di riso

da ora in poi ripetere il bordo :

5 m a grana di riso, 3 maglia rasata, ripetere 6 volte il motivo da 14 maglie, 3 maglia rasata, 5 m grana di riso.

per agevolare il lavoro consiglio di mettere un S segnapunto dopo le prime 8 maglie, ogni 14, e prima delle ultime 8 maglie.

il motivo è all’inizio dell’articolo perché.. ha deciso di stare li!

Quando avete raggiunto la lunghezza desirata fate 5 ferri a grana di riso poi un ferro di chiusura sempre a grana di riso.

nota:

ACCAVALLATA SEMPLICE = passare una m., lavorare la m. seguente, accavallare la m. passata a quella lavorata.
