Ciao!!

Ho riprodotto la copertina che avevamo visto qui,

ho seguito la stessa spiegazione ma ho usato filato e ferri n. 5 mm

La larghezza è 65 cm, ho pensato di farla quadrata, quindi 65x65cm!

Ho usato Drops Love You 5 della Drops Design.

Baby blanket for girl with hood

Hello!!

This blanket is very funny, in garter stitch and with a lovely hood.
I’ve used one yarn 50% cotton and 50% wool, it’s perfect for midseason and for summer.
This is for a baby girl but it’s a good model for a boy also.

Necessary:
2 balls of Cotton Merino Drops Design in pink
2 balls of Cotton Merino Drops Design in violet
needles US 6 / 4.00 mm

Cast on 3 stitch on needle with a violet yarn and knit one row.

From now every row make one after the first stitch
Continue like this until the sides measures 50 cm / 19,5-20 inches or the measure you prefer.
Knit one row (without make one), change yarn color and knit one row.

From now every row make one after the first stitch.

Continue like this until you have 3 stitch on the needle,

change colour and knit one row.

From now every row make one after the first stitch until the piece measure 15 cm / 6 inches.

Cast off.
Sew up the sides of the hood with the blanket.
Finish!!!

I recommend this model and with this yarn for skiing or working outdoors in winter

you need:

a ball of Drops Peak

circular needle Us 11, 8.00 mm

cast on 40 stitches and work at stockinette st. until the end of the ball,

leaving enough yarn to cast off.

cast on 40 sts and work

row 1 – knit row

row 2 – moss stitch

repete these two until the end of the ball,

leaving enough yarn to cast off.
